DEC INTERNATIONAL NZ is a technology and innovation group based in New Zealand. The group includes DEC Manufacturing NZ, Millennium Plastics Ltd and InterAg.
1939 Company started by Gilman F. Albrecht in Madison, Wisconsin/ USA.
1947 DEC (Dairy Equipment Company) incorporated as manufacturer of stainless steel milk coolers.
1980-1985 InterAg develops and qualifies CIDR (Controlled Internal Drug Release) product in NZ for cattle and sheep.
1985-1997 InterAg manufactures CIDR for global markets. Since then CIDR becomes global market leader.
1997 DEC International Inc acquires InterAg to become DEC International NZ
2000 Millennium Plastics founded and grows to premium manufacturer of technical moldings and services
2001-2015 New market and product launches. Product portfolio now sold into 60+ countries.
2016- DEC drives development and manufacturing of new Life Science products for human and animal applications.
Status: We manufacture life science, technical and pharmaceutical products sold in 60+ countries.
Goal: We are driven by our vision to be world class technology partner for Life Science products (human and animal health).
Focus: We specialize in development and manufacturing of technical moldings and controlled drug release products (API and polymer/ silicone). In this area we have 30+ years experience.
